Kimber Creek Ford

Buy a used or certified car in Minnesota from Kimber Creek Ford car dealer.

A new name for the Houston, Texas, Ford dealership is Kimber Creek Ford. This dealership was purchased by Kade Vershey three years ago. Its name change came on June 1 after relocating the Wind Water & Wheels and Crow Wing Kayaks businesses to a new location a mile south. With more room outside, the kayaks are easier to spot. The business will offer the same products and services, but will have a new look.

Multiple fire departments were dispatched to the scene of the blaze Tuesday evening. The fire department in Crosslake requested a ladder truck, while the Pine River department called in mutual aid from the Ideal fire department. By 8 p.m., five fire departments were on scene, and rotating crews were assessing hot spots inside the building. As of Wednesday afternoon, the fire department reported that there was no evidence of a medical emergency, but the fire had burned several hundred square feet of the building.
